When the Arizona Cardinals spent a third-round pick on linebacker rookie Buster Davis, formerly of Florida State, they expected him to be a tackling machine in the pros. If the 5-foot-9, 240-pounder ends up as one, it probably won't be with Arizona, which cut him on Saturday. The Cardinals might place Davis on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
