I guess its not huge news but I think it was necessary and its comforting knowing that theyre not going to 'ease' him in. Get this kid the ball 25-30 times a game on the ground and through the air. Thomas is not even our 2nd best back IMO. I think its either Jackson or Wright. Wright is essentially the same back but with more burst and better catching ability, and Jackson is a nicely rounded RB. I didnt know he had the power to break tackles like he has been.
This is how I think our depth chart should look, but obviously because of experience Thomas is the "official" backup.
