Safe to say that this kid is officially done as a Bill after this season.

I posted that Marv can't make miracles happen in the 7th round but TD couldn't draft in rounds 1 thru 3.

Wasn't Preston a 3rd rounder?

Duke Preston was drafted in the 4th Round in 2005.. Was projected to be a 7th round pick or a UFA.. They reached for him because McNally liked his smarts?

duke was a 4th round pick...

he has played awful and i dont know that i ever really liked him or saw anything from him that made me want him to be with us..

i would have been fine if they dropped him when the cuts came down.

I'd rather see Mike Schnek manning the OL than that bum.

What a waste.

Duke doesnt provide a strength in any aspect of the OL. Sub par run blocker and average Pass Pro. Never saw anything useful in his game. If Merz was healthy Duke would be gone.

Preston probably kept his roster spot because he can play, supposedly, center or guard. Had Pennington been able to play two spots he would still be here instead.

Preston has never seemed like a terrible player to me. He always struck me as the type of guy that would never be a terrific starter, but a guy who gives you flexibility and can start 8 games of the season without crippling the offensive line

The only real poor play ive seen from Duke has been this preseason at the center position, more specifically the titans game, with the nice 4 feet over JP's head.

I say hes worth keeping around.

I think you are correct.

i think pennington was doomed no matter what, just based on the fact that he couldnt block at all.
