You heard the Quote " We are going to be dangerous":chuk:

What does he know that he is not sharing with us?

If you think you have the answer then it is likely the Denver Bronco's have some idea also!

There are all kind of possibilities.

Hurry up offense.
4 WR set
Run and Shoot
Actually using Robert Royal as an option.

So, what's it going to be!

Maybe we will fool everone and run the football :hubba:

I am not sure even the Bronco's would expect that!

unfortunately it still looks like a big play offense because of the continued inability to run the ball.

I believe that Marshawyn is so good that they gave him limited time in pre-season. I think he busts one for the end-zone on the first drive. I believe he is the dangerous part of the offense.

he's only as good as the OL and so far they haven't shown an ability to run block effectively.

I'm just hoping that's a pre-season thing - because that was my big big hope for this year - improved o-line play and thus better Offense in general.

we will see.

I know we all hate the Vainilla stuff schemes, but I'm pretty sure that we were giving crap to the DCs around the league. If they stock the box, we'll pass with Evans, Price and Parish. If you do respect Evans, Lynch is going to do some serious damage. We are not a bad O team, and we are an above average team and on the rise, so you better grab a couples of beers and enjoy the show.

I predicted a few weeks ago that they should put up about 30 points a game. I'll stick with that. It seems far out enough for everyone.

I think Lynch will be a real threat in this league, I'm thinking 1150 yards and 6 TD's, 270 passing yards with 2 TD's this year.

That seems a tad unrealistic.

That would equate to 480 points for a season.

Last year, only the Chargers accomplished that, scoring 492 points. The Colts and Bears tied for second with 427 points (26.7 PPG).

In 2005, no team accomplished it. The Seahawks scored the most points in 2005 (452, 28.3 PPG), while the Colts finished 2nd (439, 27.4 PPG).

In 2004, the Colts and Chiefs accomplished it. Indy scored 522 points (32.6 PPG) and KC scored 483 (30.2 PPG).

The Bills are going to run a lot of multiple receiver formations with a spread offense. They will run out of that formation as well as pass. They will use Lynch a lot in the passing game. I think they will use their tight ends as receivers more than last year.

I think Marv will bring back the KGun.

3 wide with Marshawn being Thurman Thomas.

the ols inability to run is curious because they passed blocked quite well for the most part. usually its the pass blocking that takes longer to come together

hopefully that means they will be able to correct whatever they were doing wrong rather easily and we will see some decent rushing totals sunday. im not real confident at this point tho and expect them to turn to the pass rather early

I think we will be dangerous but not til' mid-season when the O finally get's chemistry and Lynch finally get's it.

To ressurect the K-Gun...we would need a QB who fully understands the game, knows schemes, knows tendencies and can read defenses.

We all agree that JP's physical tools are immeasurable...and most of us also agree that his mental tools aren't quite there yet, even some people think that they may never come around.

We don't have a QB to run a K-Gun type offense. In fact, there's probably only one QB in the league right now who could, his name is Peyton Manning.

Meathead

disagree

later in the year we saw jp run a kgun like version at times and he looked quite comfortable to me. with the improved pass blocking and familiarity with the receivers i expect to see them run four wides more often than ever, esp when thomas is in the backfield to pick up blitzers if necc

the piece they are missing is a good te so it might not be the kgun we used to see but it will be similar

actually, the K in K Gun was for Keith McKellar- what we really need is a receiving TE worth a damn.

by mid season they won't know who to put their 3rd and 4th. Reed? Evans? price? Parrish? Lynch? Wright? Left?

if the line and backs can pass block effectively enough to keep jp upright they will be thinking that by the third quarter sunday

with the denver dl as thin as it is this could definitely happen

what the hell are you talking about? The run O was terrible in pre season and there were several times where there were 2 defenders in Lynch's face the second he got the hand off. The first team O was terrible at run blocking in pre season.

"So JP, can you tell all the fans out there what to expect from the Bills' offense this season?"

"Sorry, no comment. Tackling Dummy says I shouldn't talk. I should only get on the field and play. You'll have to wait until the season starts and draw your own conclusions."

"Err a thank you for that umm helpful comment. I'm sure I'll be waiting with bated breath for what we might see."

I like to aim high, shoot for the stars!

I guess so. The Jim Kelly-led Bills of the early 90's never were able to score 30 PPG. They scored 409 in 1989, 428 in 1990 and 458 in 1991. That is a tremendous 3-year stretch for one of the best offensive teams ever, and they weren't able to score 30 PPG.

well Detroit's OL sucked for years, but Barry Sanders still put up huge numbers..... not saying that Lynch will, but it's possible.

For the greater part of pre-season the O-line played without 2 starters.

Once the line gets in synch we should be pretty good.

He knows that it was a metaphor for the notion that the ones in danger are the fans watching it.

My advice; a good sized box of gauze pads for your eyes.
