14:15 PT: WNSA 107.7 radio reports the Buffalo Bills and agent Angelo Wright have mode some progress in contract talks for free agent DT Sam Adams (Raiders), according to an NFL source. As previously noted, both sides have stated publicly they want to get the deal done.

You also have to consider that if Sam and Pat are so tight they will have good chemistry and play better in the middle by feeding of each other. Hopefully, Pat will help Sam shed the reputation he has for not practicing.

That KFFL is a tough site to navigate. I did find where Sam claims he's going to lose weight. I bet I lose 25 lbs before he does.

If he shows up for practice (and practices) for a couple of weeks, he'll loose 25 pounds. He's got some extra to loose; and if he's practicing, that cuts into his eating time. . .

6:32 PT: Updating previous reports, the Times Picayune reports the Buffalo Bills are still talking with free agent DT Sam Adams (Raiders), but the two sides are about $3 million apart in the signing bonus. Adams reportedly wants $5 million and the Bills are reprtedly offering $2 million.
