I'm picking Indy, too. I am looking forward (no offense Devin) to seeing Peyton play again. I have no guess as to what the score will be, but something tells me it will be close. :idunno:

It's good to see Indy WRs don't even need to enter the huddle to catch long TD passes. This game is over.

And it cements more that the AFC is the stronger conference.

You didn't catch the trailer during commercials? It was some football movie and apparently he's allergic to cinnamon and it makes him talk with a lisp.

I forgot the title of it, on purpose.

Does all Drew Brees do is drop the ball off? Where's the vertical passing game with having guys with speed like Bush, Henderson, Colston?

I had Reggie on my fantasy team and the opposing team has Addai and Harrison and going into Sunday I am down 35-24....anyway....one thing I noticed about Peyton manning is that he sort of telegraphs his passes. When he drops back he looks to the person he wants to throw it to and if he doesnt throw it to them he scrambles....i find it interesting that CBs and Ss don't pick up on this

And, as for Peyton telegraphing...if he does, it just goes to show how well he throws. If you throw a perfect pass, by definition, the CB can't do anything but watch it get caught, even if he knows it's coming...

I hope our D was taking notes on the Colts. That's how you run a successful cover-2....

Am I the only one who doesnt think this game was as big of a glowing endorsement of Indy's "great" defense (like all the experts say) as it was as to how bad New Orleans offense looked. Both of Brees picks were god awful throws, and they were actually looking good with the dink and dunk style they came out with in the 1st half.

I think that's where the Colts offense factor comes in. As the Colts built the lead more and more, the Saints had to try for bigger plays, and that's what plays into the defense's strength.

Devin

Id agree, Indy played well but it was more how badly New Orleans played.

The first half the Saints DB's played relativley well, then the 2nd half they just kinda quit.

Yea where in the hell were the safeties at all night? Aside from Wayne and Harrison smoking them over the top, Clark was wide open all night in the middle. Anytime you got Mark Simoneau covering Dallas Clark you got issues.

Seriously though, not sure about the experts you mean, but Madden was dissing the Colts D at the beginning of the game. He said they wouldn't even be a factor.

Well Madden is notoriously an idiot, but Im talking post game all the people on ESPN and NBC were all over the Indy D.
