    Sabres finally announce when they're going to open training camp

    The Buffalo Sabres announced on Thursday they will officially open Training Camp for the 2007-08 NHL season on Thursday, September 13 at 8 a.m. when veterans report for physicals at HSBC Arena. A total of 39 players (see attached roster) are currently scheduled to attend this year’s camp -- 22 forwards, 14 defensemen and three goaltenders.

    The entire group will hit the ice for their first practice on Friday, September 14 at
    HSBC Arena. The Sabres will remain at the arena for the first week of camp with on-ice workouts running from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day. The morning sessions will be followed by an intra-squad scrimmage from 12 Noon-2:30 p.m. The Sabres will also hold a night practice on Wednesday, September 19 at HSBC Arena, featuring an intra-squad scrimmage from 6-8:30 p.m. All practices are free and open to the public,
    and select concession stands will be open. All on-ice sessions during the second week will take place at the Amherst Pepsi Center.

    Saturday, September 15: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    Sunday, September 16: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    Monday, September 17: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    Tuesday, September 18: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    Wednesday, September 19: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 6-8:30 p.m.
    Thursday, September 20: On-ice at HSBC Arena, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

    Friday, September 21: Columbus @ Buffalo, 7:00 p.m.

    Saturday, September 22: On-ice at Pepsi Center, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
    Sunday, September 23: Buffalo @ Columbus, 5:00 p.m.
    Monday, September 24: Buffalo vs. Minnesota @ Grand Forks, ND, 8:00 p.m.
    Tuesday, September 25: TBD
    Wednesday, September 26: Buffalo @ Toronto, 7:30 p.m.
    Thursday, September 27: On-ice at Pepsi Center, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
    Friday, September 28: Buffalo @ Pittsburgh, 7:30 p.m.
    Saturday, September 29: Buffalo vs. Pittsburgh, 7 p.m.

    You should change the font color on the preseason games, it is hard to see.

      Yes, I certainly was dying to know when they were going to open camp.... FINALLY!!!!!!

          I was worried that they were going to start the season without doing this.
