Keep in mind you will be laughed at for liking a player that fans are going to say "Who"
I want to tell you guys if you search the net you will find several teams had him as one of the best safeties in the draft
He is a big time hitter and you will see that he is a REAL good player

I can tell you the Tampa Bay Bucks site devoted alot of time to get him on their roster.

You're not alone Wally, I've been behind #29 all along, and am really happy he's a BILL! He's an awesome athlete, and a great team player.
He brings the lumber too, I hope he gets to play ST's and doesn't have to sit out.
The fan club is TWO members strong, but I'm sure there are more!

Dont get overly excited about Wendling yet though.

Because my Super Duper Ancient Chinese Secret sources have informed me that Wendling will not be active for the game Sunday.

I don't believe that.
A few weeks ago some people on this board told me he would not make the team!

Hell yeah man! Wendling has alot of physical tools and I think he has a legitimate shot at being a starter some day. It's almost like the guy has become an instant classic since the Bills drafted him. That video of him leap frogging over that 60in. bar was amazing and I remember watching that before the draft and thought the same initial thing. Screw those that say he is nothing to get excited about, this kid brings ALOT to be excited about.

You know, that guy is what you call a old rookie.

He plays like he has been around a while!

I remember reading an article where receivers and running back used to watch for him and run away from the guy as he really lays one on you!
With his size and weight he could play LB also!

I'd just like to see him play, not sit.
Bobby April will love Wendling, and soon will the BILLS fans!

Not really, maybe if he gained some. I don't see him in the trenchs, but in the open field. I want to see him take WR's heads off!

i wasnt joking..

Don't expect WEndling to be active this Sunday or anytime soon early in the season.

Wilson will get the nod over him based on ST play.. for now.

With Ellison getting injured and reducing Coy's role on special teams I see them dressing Wendling to take Coy's place. He made some nice tackles on coverage and im sure April will want him on his unit.
