It would be fitting if the resident Elvis impersonator at the Ralph belted out a rousing rendition of "It's Now or Never" the instant J.P. Losman emerges from the tunnel this afternoon for the Bills' season opener against the Denver Broncos.

For, after three sketchy seasons in Buffalo, Losman has indeed reached the "now or never" stage.

Even he admits as much.

"There's no way to diminish the importance of this season for me," Losman says, reiterating a theme he has repeated throughout the summer. "I believe this is the year that will determine my long-term fate here, and I can't wait to see how it turns out."

I gotta agree. He looked like crap yesterday.

This is the NFL. Teams don't have the luxury of waiting six games for you to warm up.

I gave the guy a chance but he's playing himself off the team. He needs to rebound in a big way the next 4 weeks or the coaching staff could make some lineup changes during our bye week.

It also doesn't help that the playcalling was subpar most of the day.

Holy crap JP is the Billszone's "answer" !!!

I couldn't resist and I couldn't agree more. We can't have more of what we did yesterday.
