All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

im a little too frustrated and down to be entirely insightful
Re: im a little too frustrated and down to be entirely insightful
If you're going to go for it all on 3rd down you make sure you actually make the play. Going for the bomb on 3rd down when they needed a 1st down to kill the clock was ******ed.
Re: im a little too frustrated and down to be entirely insightful
I agree, they gave Denver a gift with running out of bounds on second down and throwing a low percentage play down field on third down. Even if Buffalo ran the ball on third down and did not make it Denver would of had to burn a TO. Seconds were critical as eveident with Denver kicking the game winning FG with no time left.
Re: im a little too frustrated and down to be entirely insightful
the regulars here know im the last guy to be an alarmist
but if something doesnt change soon with the game and player management im going to have no choice but to start calling for the head of dick
when you get the ball back late with the lead how do you possibly allow your team to have only one play in the possession that runs time off the clock?!?
if youre gonna hand off to the rookie you look him in the eye and tell him do NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO NEAR THE SIDELINE
and the third down bomb that everyone is saying was a good call, im sorry but the only way thats a good call is if it works because its a LOW PERCENTAGE PLAY. it much smarter to try and convert with a midrange pass or screen. i would even rather have had them run a damn draw play and keep the clock running then to try the bomb thats most likely to fail and stop the clock
and those are far from the only mistakes of the game. i just dont get how a professional team can make as many dumbass mistakes as they made today. it was one after another after another. denver was very unimpressive imo but they committed far fewer mistakes. the bills just couldnt get out of their own stupid ass way
its like they need to send everybody to FOOTBALL 099

People are saying that this is a make or break year for Losman. If we see the same old from our offense you can expect to see Fairchild's name added to the list.

the game's over if they hand off 3 times the last time they had the ball.
yet, what did they do?
lynch
lynch (out of bounds... horrible rookie run)
pass deep
how much time did they run off the clock? 50 seconds?
disgusting.
Couldn't agree w/ you more!
That deep toss to Evans was just one more nail in Jauron's coffin IMO.
All we needed was five yards and a 1st, after that, it's all but over. So what do we do? Go right at the heart of Denver's only defensive strength, their seconary, ... and lose the gamble.
Then we make Javon Walker and Jay Cutler look like Jerry Rice or Terrell Owens and Joe Montana.
But hey, we really didn't even deserve to win playing the way that we did looking at it from a silver lining perspective. It took a PR TD, two missed Elam FGs (how many times does that happen) and just like last year a bunch of other stuff going our way at home to keep it close for no solid reason otherwise.
We only had 13 FDs to their 23
184 net yards to their 470
yielded 171 rushing yards on 5.3 ypc
went only 3-of-11 in 3rd-down Convs., 0-for-5 in the 1st half
and had more than 6-minutes less ToP
Typical and predictable. Next week in Pittsburgh for their home opener is going to be hell. Denver's front-four isn't even good nor is their front-7.

WHY did they call a sweep to the right side of the field (short side) on second down?
Lynch should've never even been anywhere near the sideline to possibly go out of bounds.
If I recall correctly, Lynch didn't go out of bounds he was thrown out of bounds by a Donkey LB (DJ Williams??). Smart play for the LB - dumb play to be running a sweep to the SHORT side of the field. Should never have presented the opportunity to the Donkeys to throw Lynch out of bounds.
