They aren't confirming any sort of movement at all out of him, sounds REALLY Bad.

Get well soon, Kev :(

I agree...More important then any game is the health of the players. The fact they never came back with any good news is not a very positive sign. They usually try to say something positive immediately after they hear it.

I can tell my age because I almost threw up when he wasn't moving. This is very sad and it appears very serious. I can't even find an update.

The loss today is way less significant than this.

Indeed. It's bad enough that we lost this afternoon in a spectacularly incompetent fashion, the last thing we need is, God forbid, for Kevin Everett to be paralyzed or something horrible like that. I hope he's okay:pray:

The only thing that sucks about this game is serious injuries

I hope Kevin's alright and back on his feet again. I was worried when he didn't raise an arm or anything when they loaded him into the ambulance.

Jay Glazer reported he was told by someone at the hospital that Everett was taken into emergency surgery.

Yeah, that didn't look good. I did however see his right arm move after he got knocked out. It may just have been reflexes, but I'm thinking it's not paralysis or anything.

It wasn't his arm moving, it was his chest trying to breath. My first thought was paralysis. :(

 please be ok, Kevin. :sadwalk:

This is the worst thing about football. I love watching, but it indeed is violent enough where people can get seriously hurt, and even killed. I hope and pray that he'll recover and that he'll be able to have something approaching a normal life.

But you did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night right?

I mean, seriously.

it looked like they removed his facemask from his helmet while he was on the field. i'm not an MD but they don't risk doing that and worsening any paralysis without a justified reason...I think we will hear something more about what happened on the field later.

If this is true than we should start bracing for the worst. I'm thinking that he may suffer paralysis from the neck down.

It's always these kind of fluke plays where the most damage is done.

Ive seen some pretty messed up stuff at rescue calls, and if someone is wearing a helmet with a visor or shield its carefully removed as straps are attached to it, its to put the neckbrace on securly..

No they did not.

Yeah guessing because of the straps attaching it to helmet, cant move the persons head neck or back..
