The bills will be busy tuesday with open tryouts after today's devestating lost .

The Bills lost 3... count them three starters today due to injury....

Webster-broken forearm
Wire- Sprained knee MCL
Simpson-broken ankle
Everette-Cervical spine...

Everette and simpson are most likely done for the year....

Any suggestion on new starters and possible signings ?

From what i have seen so far this season i dont expect many signings. Everyone always talks about who we should get before the season starts and the FO does nothing.

The loss was just insult to injury.

Simpson's absence will hurt us but the rest of those guys that were injured suck anyways.

Well it appears we will get a good look at Wendling and Schouman afterall.

Thus is the problem with this organization. They don't fill needs and pray everything goes good for them. They don't hire good coaching and they pray we can overcome it. They don't hire good GM's and somehow we are supposed to be a winning organization. Please tell me how we, as fans, are supposed to stay positive about the crap Ralphy sells us?

I'm down with Will Demps.

Kevin Everett - cervical spine injury
Jason Webster - broken forearm
Ko Simpson - fractured ankle
Coy Wire - sprained MCL

Talk about adding injury to insult.

Does Everett have feeling in any extremity?

I'm worried about Everett. Webster getting hurt probably helps the Bills because he was so bad. Youboty played OK when he was in there. Ko is a loss...Leonhard shouldn't even be on the roster. Wire never even got a chance to show what he could do at LB.

Everrett didn't even give a thumbs up and that worried me.

Looks like at least 3 spots opened up for the team.

Let's bring Cieslak back and some cb help.

Coy's not big enough to play the position at this level.

He's got a big heart, but not a big enough frame.

Leonard made the teams on smarts, not physical ability. He's a liability in the backfield because of his physical ability. He tends to get run over although he's usually at the right place at the right time(Int off cutler).

we'll be scowering the waiver wires. Looks like we opened up some room by releasing murphy earlier

Leonard actually led the team in tackles today with 13. I know he is undersized but he seems to be in the right place, and can make tackles. I wouldn't mind going with him at FS.

As for a CB, I have no clue as to who is out there. We'll probably pluck some off a practice squad and throw them in because they can supposedly play the Cover 2.

Right there is a problem. If your safety is making a lot of tackles the other team is either completing a lot of throws or the running back is running into the secondary. Both are not good.

I'm guessing Leonhard stays as the starter. Murphy will be re-signed, unless he doesn't clear waivers (I just hope Everett's injury isn't too serious and he recovers).

LB depends on Ellison's health...at corner we still have Youboty, Thomas, and Greer.

I don't see the team making any drastic moves on FA's.

This is just guessing, but with Webster, it depends where on the forearm the break is. If it's close to the wrist, they might be able to do the "club" thing to protect it. If it's close to the elbow it will be more problematic. Standard recovery time for a fracture is 6 weeks, but it could be more.

Simpson- I don't know, that **** was scary. His leg looked like it was bent in half. It could be a while depending on the severity.

Wire- a torn MCL is bad, a sprained MCL might not take too long to heal- again, depends on severity.

Everett- just pray he can still walk.

Just guessing....I agree Murphy may be resigned...Cieslak...worked out for KC this week...We should sign a FS... Wendling is a SS....We could really use a Vet back At FS...........

As much as I dislike Everett as a player so far in his career I was almost in tears watching him motionless. I  that he's ok and can return to playing football soon.

Say what you want about Leonard, but he was the ONLY one who caught an INT!

What about taking a look at Lamont Thompson at FS and Dhani Jones at LB... ?

THOUGHTS ?

Leonard is a smart player. He knows his assignments, but he can be a liability in the run game moreso the pass. This is where Ko was important.

Lamont Thompson is a good option. He's been a decent safety throughout his career.

That is sick attempt at humor and nothing funny about a guy going into emergency surgery for a spinal injury. The hell with football we are talking about a man's life.
