Why is Peerless a 2nd WR In Buffalo?

Has ANYONE seen ANYTHING from this guy that says "hey Yeh, this guy deserves to be a 2nd WR!"

We may have the WORST 2nd string WR in the WHOLE NFL!

This guy can't even make the damn ROSTER on any other team and yet he's a second WR here.

    1 catch for -2 yards.

    Way to be.

I was down on Peerless after this game because I thought he had to be the one to pick up the slack with the corners concentrated on Evans. The broncos were down to three healthy corners after the game. I still don't understand how fairchild couldn't take advantage of it. For the next game I think Reed should be given the start to see how he handles it this time around.

reed came up big with a couple catches in traffic and took a few hard hits after the catch but still hung on....

Reed and Parrish are the ones who show up making big plays GAME AFTER GAME AFTER GAME!

Price is just a bum! He is wasted money, wasted roster spot. Right now all he does is give a CB something to do while Reed and Parrish make plays.

Price is nothing more than...a DECOY

Agreed. His straight line speed is a decoy.

Where was Evans. He played Bly on about 9 plays. Stop over reacting.

Re: Why is Peerless a 2nd WR In Buffalo?

I've been saying Price should go since that night practice a few weeks ago when he let up on a ball because the safety was coming over. Everyone got excited because he played well in the last two preseason games, but that was an exception to the rule unfortunately. Let Reed or Parrish get the 2nd WR spot, demote Price to 4th or 5th. Hell, I'd even let Aiken get more reps hoping that he could use his size to get some mismatches.

As for Peerless, he can not get open, and that is evidenced today when he pretty much had single coverage on him while Evans was doubled. He is not a 2nd WR option anymore.

I don't like Price either, but Roscoe is too small to catch the ball in traffic and Reed lacks the speed to stretch the field, which takes away from JP's big play ability.

Or, simply put, we've got Evans and a bunch of solid #3's that we try to use as #2's.

OP, I would say despite Roscoe's size his quickness and speed neutralize that flaw slightly. Enough I would say to give him a shot at the spot. Like I said, I think he would do better than 1 catch for -2 yards.
