All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I was down on Peerless after this game because I thought he had to be the one to pick up the slack with the corners concentrated on Evans. The broncos were down to three healthy corners after the game. I still don't understand how fairchild couldn't take advantage of it. For the next game I think Reed should be given the start to see how he handles it this time around.
I've been saying Price should go since that night practice a few weeks ago when he let up on a ball because the safety was coming over. Everyone got excited because he played well in the last two preseason games, but that was an exception to the rule unfortunately. Let Reed or Parrish get the 2nd WR spot, demote Price to 4th or 5th. Hell, I'd even let Aiken get more reps hoping that he could use his size to get some mismatches.
As for Peerless, he can not get open, and that is evidenced today when he pretty much had single coverage on him while Evans was doubled. He is not a 2nd WR option anymore.
I don't like Price either, but Roscoe is too small to catch the ball in traffic and Reed lacks the speed to stretch the field, which takes away from JP's big play ability.
Or, simply put, we've got Evans and a bunch of solid #3's that we try to use as #2's.
OP, I would say despite Roscoe's size his quickness and speed neutralize that flaw slightly. Enough I would say to give him a shot at the spot. Like I said, I think he would do better than 1 catch for -2 yards.
