Bills S Jim Leonhard racked up 13 tackles after taking over for Ko Simpson (fractured ankle) in Sunday's Week 1 loss.
The diminutive Wisconsinite is likely to start for the foreseeable future and should get a lot of tackle chances behind a poor looking Bills front seven.Pretty damn impressive for a guy who was on the fence to make the team.

Like I said earlier while it is impressive for a guy who didn't even start the game it is also never good to have your safety be the leading tackler. That means the defense is giving up too many big plays.

Well who does? But it's nice to see that he got them. It's better than 13 TD's because he didn't get the tackles.

He did have a great pick, and did not miss a tackle. That being said, he was burned a few times in the secondary.

He was terrible...always out of position and never in position to make a play.

That said, he is a MAJORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR liability in coverage and I shudder to think at what Brady is going to do to him in week 3.

If this organization is serious about putting the best team as possible on the field, then we won't see Leonhard starting...EVER!

I agree. That usually means he's not breaking up passes before catches are being made, and the other team is picking on him.

he had a perfect pierson prioleau type of day.

15 tackles, all 20 yards down field because he left a man wide open.

Yeah great he made tackles after at least 10 yards down the field. Isn't that what a lot of people *****ed at Fletcher for?
