I must admit, as a Cal & Marshawn fan, I was a little worried about how he would do this year after a quiet preseason. Well, no worries anymore. His running through defenders TD jaunt was a typical run which we Cal fans witnessed 30+ times over the last few years. (not all TDs of course) Get used to it. :) He is so strong that it can take 3-4 guys to bring him down if he wants it that way.

I hope you guys stock some talent around him because he's going to be special.

He ran AWESOME yesterday.

McGahee woulda been lucky to get 35 yards yesterday with the lack of holes.

Maybe if our passing game can ever get it going, teams wont be able to stack the box to stop Lynch and then he'll really get off.

Lynch looked amazing yesterday!
One of the few bright spots of this game.

He really looked good... I think this is just a small sampling of his talents

One thing I noticed on his TD run was how McGahee never would have done that. I remember McGahee several times taking runs like that and going down quickly or going out of bounds. Lynch buckled down and plowed the guys over. I loved it.

He got better and better as the game went on. He looked a little nervous/anxious the first few carries, but that wore off as the game went on.

Going to be interesting how well McGahee does tonight and see how easy his punk ass hits the turf.

Last season, first game, 3rd quarter. 4th and short. Run to McGahee. Stuffed.

This season, first game, 2nd quarter. 4th and short. Run to Lynch. First down.

All Lynch needs is a new chin strap!

Pretty sure the only thing McGahee will do tonight is impregnate half of Cincy!

Lynch is a stud and nothing proved it more than the 4-1 where he got his helmet taken off and he still gets 3 yards upfield with the first down!
