after one single game.. i like lynch so much more than i ever remember liking mcgahee..

i honestly can say that was one of the best moves the bills may have ever made.. after one game, i am completely confident in that.

I've liked Lynch since the second we got rid of McGahee. I'm glad that Marv liked him too.

I was just as excited with Mcgahee in 2004-2005. To bad I never knew how stupid he was...

What's great is the fact that McGahee wanted to get out of here to go to a better team with a far superior OL. Well he got his wish :snicker: Their OL looks like freaking swiss cheese.

Well....he actually is having a good game so far......and so what.

9 carries 52 yards and a score early in the second

??

Musa Smith looks better.

lordofgun
09-10-2007, 07:06 PM
That was Smith, not McGahee.

Mr. Pink
09-10-2007, 07:07 PM
Musa had the last two carries for the Ravens....

7 carries 29 yards for McGahee.

McGahee didn't score, that was Smith, and there's no way he has 52 yards. Maybe combined with Smith.

Mr. Pink
09-10-2007, 07:09 PM
Yeah, Smith and McGahee have combined for 52....

Smith has 23 of it on 2 carries.

If Smith could stay healthy he'd be a hell of a RB. He's tough as freaking nails.

hahah I hope there becomes a RB controversy in Baltimore soon.

I DONT want Willis to get hurt, because when his numbers suck again I dont want him to have any excuses.

BlackMetalNinja
09-10-2007, 07:32 PM
Yeah, Willis hasn't looked real great so far, but he does have 42 yards so far in the first half. Musa Smith has looked better in his few attempts however.

Funny how Baltimore had to waste a timeout in the 1st quarter because McGahee didnt know where to line up....

please. willis fumbled a handoff and has looked terrible.

a few plays he's been in the wrong position to take the handoffs. you can tell with the way mcnair keeps looking for him, only to see him in the wrong place.

the guy probably didn't bother to read the playbook.

McGahee looks like McGahee. He looks average at best.

Mr. Pink
09-10-2007, 08:35 PM
12 carries 59 yards 3 catches 34 yards...

He's looked better than average to me...

My question is, we all hated that he never did anything in the passing game here yet he's done fairly well when Baltimore has thrown him the ball. Makes me wonder why that wasn't taken advantage of here. After watching Lynch only get the rock once via air leads me to believe that our gameplan and strategy is not to involve the RB in the passing game much.

Considering how sorry the Bengals defense is/has been for years he's having a very average game.

When you pay a guy $40 million and give up two day one picks and a second day pick you should be getting all-pro type days out of that player. Your kidding yourself if you think he looks like a top tier back tonight.

Mr. Pink

He's averaging 4.9 YPC up til now. I think that's performing at a very good level. It's not Willis' fault he only has had 12 carries, is he supposed to break one every time he touches the ball?

I'm not trying to defend McGahee or anything, but just because we all hate the guy doesn't mean he's a crappy player...and the bias towards him is obviously clouding your judgement that he's actually playing well with how the Ravens are using him.

I don't hate him at all. He was my favorite Bill until he started being a penis and it wouldn't make me mad at all to see him dominate. I just think he looks like **** tonight.

I knew that if they handed the ball to Willis at the end that he would not get in the end zone and they knew it too. That is why they kept throwing passes. Now Lynch looked like he knows how to get the big yard when you need it

It was nice to see Bengals/Ravens praying for Kevin Everett, very classy even for Mcgahee, business aside he was a friend of Everett since they were fom the U.

Willis: 19 carries 77 yards, 3 catches 23 yards, 0 TDs, 1 fumbled handoff exchange against one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL

Lynch: 19 carries 90 yards; 2 catches 9 yards; 1 TD, no turnovers in his first NFL game

'Nuff said.

No way McGahee gets that 4th and 1 that Lynch got yesterday. That was beautiful. McGahee didn't look horrible tonight, but Smith looked just as good or better. Here's to McGahee not getting 1k yards!

He lacks the touch so you seldom ever see him go to it. He should have been dumping off to Lynch all day Sunday.:cynic:.

My bad....I wasn't watching live at the time. NFL.com...... had their little game tracker on and it gave me those stats above. That's the last time I post anything from there.

Clements was his normal self, he did good, but he didn't impact the game much.
