Great Read.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20715148/

When you hear the New England Patriots (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20715148/#) are accused of sending a spy to videotape an opponent’s signals, do you think, “There is no WAY that would EVER be tolerated on a team coached by Bill
Belichick?”

Belichick’s career as a Hall of Fame coach is quickly being overtaken by his career as a Hall of Fame jackass.

BB is a A-hole but I didn't need a reporter to remind me of it. Good read though!

If this is all just a big misunderstanding, all apologies to Belichick.
If not, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell needs to go all Pacman Jones on Belichick, who is a repeat offender when it comes to the crime of sore winning and sore losing.

I've been saying for years that the Pats win through mostly trickery. This doesn't surprise me one bit especially in light of Belichick's habit of bringing in cut players from teams he's about to face. I also love how their o-line gets to hold a lot so Tom Brady can have time to make a BLT sandwich before tossing the ball.

They should make him take a shower and wear a coat and tie. I don't think there'd be a bigger punishment for the guy.

"No thanks, justa. Now back to the Bills. Marv should start taking notes from Belicheck on how to have a winning franchise. I mean, who doesn't want to be division champs like the Pats are. Not trying to beat my chest, but we are the model of success."

What is to say? It is what it is. Attempting to steal signals is pretty common in the NFL, but the Pats took it way too far and got caught. They will pay the penalty. Nothing much more I can add to that.

This doesn't have much acual effect on the season, but it obviously is embarrassing to the organization. It hurts long-term, because they are going to lose draft picks.

As for your calling me out, I don't have any real other affiliation with the team other than being a fan, so it isn't like it effects my everyday life one way or the other.

That isn't fair, Bling. You never heard anything from me about the Pats being a model franchise or doing things any different from any other. They are talented and well-coached, but I'm not one to think they are different.

No doubt, this puts a big stain on the franchise. It is a huge embarrassment and calls into question all their accomplishments the last several years.

For Belichick, it could be the Scarlett Letter. He already isn't especially well liked by most, and now it could ultimately cost him his shot at the HOF or even his job with the Patriots.

That said, they are my team. I'll still watch the games. Even the worst case, which is the end of the era and the Pats falling back into an also-ran, the games will go on and I'll follow them.

If it was my team, I'd keep watching too. I'd want ralph to fire the GM and head coach to send a message.

It will be interesting to see if the media jumps off the BB/Brady lovemobile now and turns on them. I think it is very possible actually....
