Wouldn't Tebucky Jones have been worth a second or high 3rd?

    From ESPN:

"Look for talks between New England and New Orleans, on a deal that would send "franchise" free safety Tebucky Jones to the Saints, to get jump-started again. The teams discussed a trade, but the Saints have balked at the second-round draft choice New England wants in return, preferring to part with only a third-rounder."
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

High 3rd maybe, but the Patsies won't go for anything less than a 2nd rounder. At least for now. Hopefully the Aints sign a FS and leave the Pats hanging.

No, they wouldn't go for the Saints' 3rd rounder.

Ours is 13 picks higher and only 4 picks from a 2nd rounder.

Doesn't matter tho, again, we're not even in on the discussions as we raced to sign Reese.

        wys...

        "we raced to sign reese"

we could still sign a safety..

FS - Reese, Driver (driver sucks, has done nothing, and should be cut)
SS - Wire, PP goes back to his natural spot

that leaves room for a FS..

3rd round, yes. 2nd round, no way.

How about a conditional 3rd for next year with a possibility of a 2nd based on playing time and stats. Hey, if the Saints sign a FS (and they're talking to Lassiter and Flowers) we could swoop in again. I, for one, would personally like to see TD make BB his personal ***** for the second offseason in a row.
