The game on Sunday is a HUGE game for JP Losman

As it was made obvious in week 1, with the decemation of an already weak defense, in order for the Bills to be competitive the offense will have to carry the team. That means our quarterback must put the load on his shoulders.

This game is against a team that looked damn good in week 1, and is just a season removed from a superbowl title. JP needs to come through for us, bottom line. We have heard all this talk about a dangerous offense, we didnt see that in week 1. This week Lee Evans has a favorable matchup against pittsburghs less than stellar defensive backfield, (with the exception of Polomalu) so its time for our QB to show what hes made of and give us something to cheer about.

And if he dosent, we could be in for a long season.

One thing is obvious, if JP throws for 97 yards again, it's going to be a long season for him holding Edwards' clipboard.

I don't think JP will throw for less than that the rest of the season but he does need to step up and move the chains at all costs. If that means he has to scramble for those 3rd and 4's, than so be it. I am so tired of 3 and outs.

Edwards will not see the field this season. He was the 7th QB selected in the draft and maybe one of them will see some action this year. He has very little experience from college because he was always injured. In 4 seasons of college he might have accumalated 2+ years of experience between injuries and backup time. Even if Edwards did play Losman would be back in because he would most likely get injured since he only made it through 1 season in college without missing any time. And if he did play the same ones wanting him now would talk about him sucking. He is not the answer right now.

We will see much more from the offense this week because the steelers' corners arent nearly as good as Bly and Bailey. I expect a huge bounce back game from Lee Evans this wee. That is as long as the line can give JP time. the steelers always have a good pass rush with Lebeau.
