    slant patterns

i think maybe the biggest problem why we dont run slant patterns is we dont have a wr who is close to big enough to shield the ball with his body from any defender. a major flaw in our roster. we need a big wr at all costs soon. we are right now paying dearly for donahoes insistance of drafting toys over and over and never any big players

Reed is big enough, although he was out on Sunday.

Reed's like 5'10, he may be eye to eye with you, but that sure as hell isn't big enough to run a slant effectively.

5'10" 210 isn't huge but it's solid and bigger than Parrish or Evans.

He should be able to do it.

But this whole team is undersized.

I think it's because JP isn't accurate in the short pass and has no sense of timing with his wr's other than Reed. PLus, I don't think Fairchild has it in his playbook. Did he even run it in St. Louis?

Quick slants work 95% of the time and they always kill us! Please please start using them!

This thread reminds me of Pat's April Fools thread.

We should have activated Morgan and put him in. BTW, Aiken is worthless.

Wes Welker 5-9 185. The guy was NE's work horse yesterday. He's a giant.
