Don't know if this has ever been posted, but if you want to see what a real QB can do just observe this video of The Franchise in action:
Keep in mind the following when observing:
- Reading the defense: He goes through his first, 2nd, 3rd, etc options and knows how to get rid of the ball, even if it's a quick dump off. Something we already observed in preseason.
- Awareness in the pocket: He knows what's going on around him and isn't a turnover machine unlike our current starting QB.
- Mobility: Kid has wheels and can make plays outside the pocket. Something Losman just don't have the natural ability and intelligence to do.
- Accuracy: When the oline gives him time this kid is a deadly assassin. In fact it's scary how accurate he is.
- 3 step drop: Something this kid has down pat. Losman however 4 years into the NFL just don't seem to understand this concept. Edwards footwork is amazing as well, not much 'happy feet' from him.
As The Answer has stated before, this kid just 'has it' - raw, uncompromised talent that can't be learned or coached.
