I just got a letter telling me about the game and an order form. I was just wondering who is getting tickets for the Sabres vs Penguins game on January 1st, 2008? And where are you looking to get seats at? I think I'm going to get tickets in the 100 level, but not sure where exactly, yet.

I'm going to have to find somebody to buy tickets for me. I'm already off Dec 29-Jan 1, so I'm trying to just take off the 2nd-4th and have a 9 day vacation while only using 3 vacation days and coming up to visit my family. My dad wants to go as well, plus probably my brother and maybe my wife too! I gotta get details worked out ASAP!

Let me know! I can order tickets right now, I got the order form today and we supposedly have first dibs as the mini-pack holders and season ticket holders.

Lecter and the season ticket holders have a reserved seat as part of the season ticket price in the 300 level, corners. Apparently they can also get extras too.

SHHHHH. :zipit: Don't stop him from spending his money. If he want to do it, as long as it's on the Bills or Sabres.....it's all good!

I was on a plane and missed the press conference. Can somebody fill me in on the details? I have Bills seasons but not Sabres - can I still get dibs on a seat?

This is slightly different for many reasons.

A. I'd be taking minimal vacation time from work, yet getting a week and a half off
B. I'd also get to see my family close to the holidays
C. This is a once in a lifetime event, not a Sabres/Devils game

But yes, I'm still not even sure if I'm going to be able to make the trip because my wife is on me about budgeting for a house, plus she likely won't be able to get the time off from work.

Well, it looks like I'm in! At least for now. I'm going to go ahead and get tickets and hope my plans fall into place properly. If not, I'll have some tickets to sell in a few months I guess.

They forgot to tell what parking will be.

You better believe parking will be extra and probably more than normally based upon trying to get most from this single event. Orchard Park probably requested a fortune to all the Bills to rent it for this event.

I wouldn't be surprised if they charged the full $25 they do for Bills games, or at least close to it...

I heard parking will be $40 from a buddy of mine who works security at the HSBC (he will be working New Years)

Oh my god. I just realized how few tickets will be available!

We have 15,000 season ticket holders or something like that.

And I believe there is an option to get upto 2 extra seats per card holder... Thats probably around 30,000 seats right there...then another 10,000 for NHL personnel, Government officials, Media members, Players familys/friends, Sabres Org/Pens Org, Charitys..... wow.

So less than 40,000 seats.
Holy ****, I am leaving my house right now and heading to the Ralph!!

Are you going to sit in your season ticket 300 level corners? Or are you going to try to get closer seats?
