    JP vs. Paper or Plastic..

All the comments about Edwards success coming against 4th stringers and future supermarket stock boys made me curious how JP fared in his first preseason games, going against this same level of talent..

Nothing earth shattering here - only real significant difference is the completion percentage - which becomes moreso when you take into account the type of offense Fairchild wants to run.

I am a little surprised at the yds per completion too - I assumed JP's would be higher.

    JP's first 6 games vs. Edwards' 4.

    JP 47/81 430yds 58.0% comp 1TD 2INT 9.1yds per comp

    Edwards 46/61 432yds 75.4% comp 1TD 0INT 9.4yds per comp

Edwards was playing against 4th stingers, but also WITH!

His composure stook out for me. Those were the very first plays he had in the nfl.

Some of us recognize that, a lot of people don't..

Exactly BF1. The look he just had in the pocket reminded me of veteran quarterbacks like Favre. He had so much composure back there, so calm and collected. I can see Trent coming into a game where he is down a touchdown with under two minutes to go, marches down that field and wins the game. To me, he just seems that confident and relaxed.

With the way most Bills fans are talking, Mularkey would be an upgrade at this point! Can't have it both ways!

The biggest thing that stood out to me with Edwards was that HE MOVES THE BALL.. I don't have time to check right now, but I've been wondering for a while now, did he have a SINGLE 3 and out in those four games?

Exactly - Losman is drive killer.

Edwards just gets it done - even if it's with the dink and dunks.

Another thing I find interesting is how similar JP and Trent's backgrounds are, as far as having piss poor olines 'protecting' them in college.. and just how different the two handle themselves back there.

wait a minute...I thought you shoved down our throats that Fairchild made JP look bad not TE look good.

All I was pointing out then was who was the OC's when JP played in preseason and who was trents OC . HArd to compare both stats when they both had different OC's.

Why are we rehashing all of this again, again?
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
