Don't we pay some of our entry fee to EA for live scoring? I notice the scoreboard is still showing week 1 scores, and during the games the scoring doesn't get updated? Did EA become free and we no longer pay for live updates?

You have to go to the "Your Team" tab. One of the choices right underneath that is "Live Scoring"
