LAS VEGAS — O.J. Simpson was charged Tuesday with seven felonies, including kidnapping, in the alleged armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors in a casino-hotel room.

The fallen football star was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. Clark County District Attorney David Roger filed those charges and added kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping, according to court documents.

Simpson, who faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted, was charged along with three other men authorities believe barged into a room at the Palace Station casino and stole sports memorabilia from two collectors.

He is being held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.

Why does one of the best players and most recognizable in Buffalo Bills history have to be a psycho..

bill or no bill i dont see how he shuld be in the HOF anymore. like if they keep him in after all of this and put bonds in, but then keep pete rose out for gambling, then what the hell is wrong with sports?

Life in prison for a robbery? :idunno: but he is doing everything he can to spit on people who look up to sports atheletes. i really didnt mean to bring the pete rose deal up, it was jus an example as if they keep him in for murdering and kidnapping etc. why wuldnt they allow rose to be enducted? and why put bonds in for steroid use? just kinda not liking the hypocrisy. yea theyre all great in the sports but they shuldnt be celebrated if they constantly do demeaning things, like the public would not notice? like look at it from a perspective of say u are a kid or u have a kid who is coming up in liking sports. they see theyre favorite athelete play great enough to enter the HOF. however when they do something really wrong they dont get dishonored from that. I feel the HOF shuld be a privalege for these players, that they shuld stay the person they were during their playing careers if they wanna be recognized as outstanding individuals. thats all i have to say really

*edit no idea why this is so severe of a punishment. i knew he did something but i didnt know what.. that seems really harsh tho

I believe the "life" possibility comes from the fact that one of the charges is kidnapping.

I really wish this guy's name never showed up on our board anymore - as if we don't have enough to be depressed about, this guy is on our freaking wall of fame.

Hopefully Las Vegas has intelligent people living in the state! While I think it SUCKS MAJOR **** that he's actually in jail for robbery, I hope and pray he gets life for it.:grovel: :grovel: Granted, it's not what I think he should be put away for life for, but having his sorry, murdering ass in jail for the rest of his miserable life would be the best news EVER!!!!!!! Then when he dies, he can BURN IN HELL!!! :grovel: :grovel:

Pretty sure, this time, he's F'd. He's going to jail for a longtime...on Kidnapping charges!
One of his comments on the situation was "I thought what happened in Vegas, stayed there."
OJ you broke a few laws...you're done!

stay tuned

something doesnt quite fit with this whole story. it looks like some kind of set up. oj says the stuff was his and that he had no knowledge of guns ever

my guess is that it will end up being something much less than is being presented now. if there indeed were no guns and if he was just trying to get his stuff back they will plea him down to something relatively minor

if it belongs to juice you got to let him loose

No this is asinine. They shouldn't trump up charges because what should have happened years ago. They need to do it the correct way.
