I think our biggest void is WR

As I sit here and ponder Adams, Spikes, etc and what we've added, the WR position stands out to me as still needing one more speedster to offset the loss of Price.
Along with need, we need a backup HB, and a lower round speedster wouldn't hurt. We need speed. lightning fast speed. Speed. SPEED. Wait, that was from a Rocky movie......

    We dont need drugs.

I think we'll get a WR in the 2nd-4th round of the draft, if we dont pick someone up.

A rookie late round receiver won't bring anything this year. HB might.

He doesn't need to bring much, he would only be a 3rd/4th receiver and would have to beat Shaw out.

What does everyone have against Shaw?? He was competing for the #2 slot in Jacksonville... He'll be a fine #3 WR, and could compete for the #2 role.

i think reed will be a solid #2.i'm thinking that he could possibly catch 65-70 passes.

i dont think anyone has a problem with shaw.. i think everyone is scared he is not the deepthreat that we lost..

i dont know that we definately need it.. but to have a burner available would be nice.. a draft pick would be fine imho.

Moulds worked all right as a deep threat...

I'm biased, because I flat out like this guy, but perhaps Jeremy McDaniel is an option...

I think the WR position is fine, though.

Jeremy McDaniel, wasn't he released last season?

I was amazed, to see Reed's name, wasn't mentioned until SABURZFAN brought him up. Reed will be a solid #2. He had 500 yards last season, Shaw had 525, and has a 4 year average o f 500 yards.

Our receiving is in agreat shape. The only question remains, who is going to step up into the number 2 spot? Reed, or Shaw?

I disagree...I think our biggest problem is backup RB...we have absolutely NOTHING should Travis go down. We need a player who can carry the load should Travis go down and we don't have that right now.

Sammy Morris is an adequate backup at RB. He had shown flashes of greatness a couple years ago competing for the starting job. In fact I remember rooting for him to be the starter over Bryson and Smith.

I'd rather see Morris as a Larry Centers type player as I feel he has just as good hands, and he's just very similar to Centers as a player.

I think Marcus Robinson couldn't hurt (well, he does get injured a lot but)... when healthy, he can be a #1 receiver. We should at least take a look at him.
