With the Bills precariously close to having a dangerous shortage at cornerback the club signed free agent Dustin Fox to their practice squad Wednesday.

The former third-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings (2005) was most recently with the Philadelphia Eagles. He spent most of last season on the Eagles practice squad, though he was briefly called up to the active roster for two weeks appearing in one game.

    3rd round pick???

    Bust city I guess.

I remember this guy when he played for The Ohio State University. I actually liked him better than Ashton Youboty when they both were on the squad.

Don't know what happened him in his attempt at a pro career though.

This is a good pick up. Who needs Tank Jonhnson. I'd rather have a roster of nobody's.

meh. This is just to ensure we have enough bodies at CB- it doesn't help or hurt.

I think the injury to McGee's ribs at the end of the game made the FO nervous.

Eh...who knows? Probably won't amount to anything, but ti may. And I wouldn't have signed Tank Johnson. The Bears obviously thought he was expendable enough that they didn't have to put up with his off-the-field distractions...
Good riddance Fairchild. Of course, the knowledge of your departure will only make TE more hateable than the typical Bills QB. Good luck, hope we don't mess you up like JP.

Because they already have a very good defense.

Even if we wanted to sing Tank he wouldn't of come here anyways, so *****ing about him is pointless...He wanted to go to a playoff team, and the last time I looked we were anything but that.......

                      Dustin Fox:

Fox was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He broke his arm in training camp and had to sit out for the rest of the season. - good that we gave him another chance

Has a 40-inch vertical leap - very nicee

Sounds like a safety candidate; I know we have Wilson and Wendling in reserve but his size and mobility reminds me of a safety more than a CB.

Bye Corto. I'll let my niece know her old Sacred Heart school mate won't be playing for the Bills.

He is insurance at CB. I think it's a smart pickup. He may not be a world beater, but the only CBs left are older guys that are washed up and young guys whose careers got derailed somehow. He has a major college background. If he's got a modest amount of football intelligence he should at least be able to step in and finish a game.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

His uncle, Tim Fox, is a former Patriot S and Ohio State All-American.
