No.

Mike Martz was handed the keys to a dynasty in the making, all he had to do was NOT F*** it up, but he did just that. In doing so he launched the chowdahead dynasty (unforgiveable).

He's one of those coaches (like Manboobs and Norv Turner) that need to remain coordinators..they can't handle the head job.

I wanted Martz instead of Jauron when Dick was hired.

Then I wanted him as OC when Fairchild was hired.

So, yes. Even if we lost, he'd make the offense fun to watch, which would be an improvement.

As long as he leaves the d to someone else, I dont see a problem with him being a head coach.

I'd like Russ Grimm or Mike Singletary. I think we need some one whose going to get them to play, from week 1 to week 16 and on! Martz wouldn't be bad though....

Mike Martz is not HC material. He is best at OC.

Martz fired Bobby April in St. Louis. Checkmate.

Let Bobby April coach the freakin' team. Scrap the Cover 2 D and return to the 4-3, since we gave our 2 DE's big $$ and they cannot play the 3-4. Bring in 2 big DT's via FA or the Draft to rotate with McCargo and you got something to actually give us hope. Find a solid 4-3 DC to run it.

Let Alex Van Pelt bring in his old Ted Marchibroda playbook to run the Offense and away we go.

Amen to that!!! Why look around, when we got the guy here already. April should be the coach, he's the only one who's not effin it up

Bobby April does seem very detail oriented and precise in the way he teaches. I am not sure how creative he is but I have a hard time believing he is much worse than Club Jauron.

I don't want Martz.

I don't want to take the chance on April, either...He may be another example of a great coordinator/bad HC, and we don't have the time to take that chance.

Give me somebody who's proven to be successful as the #1.

Anyone ever see this guy at camp ? He's all over the place, barking out detailed instructions and just rides the pretenders. No nonsense. He was made the Asst. HC this past year for a reason.

I make this suggestion because it's a real possibility. Can anyone see Ralph or Marv calling up a well known ex HC ( big $$ ) to replace Jauron ? Come on.

The key is hiring the right coordinators and running a scheme that plays to the strength of your roster. That's something we're not doing, at present.

1- Id rather have Sherman, let's correct the mistake we made by not hiring him to begin with.

2- I think its going to take 3-13 or worse for Levy to "fire" Jauron.. and btw, if we finish 2-14 and Jauron goes, I think Levy goes with him-- and when Wilson hires another bum set of GM/Head Coach, he'll prove once and for all he cares little about winning.

The last thing I wanna do is get another GM/coach in here that want to bring in there people and reinvent the wheel, all the while making us go through the "rebuilding" phase for the 4th time in less than a decade. **** that. Either make Bobby April the HC or leave it the way it is.

Without reading the entire thrread, my answer is NO. We should not hire Martz.

This is the genius that fired Bobby April. 'nuff said.

Do we need someone in charge of media or business off? Yes other wise no since we have his pupil. The offense does not work without the right players.
