6:04 PT: The Dallas Morning News reports on Saturday the Dallas Cowboys revealed plans for their new stadium. They presented it as the centerpiece of a billion-dollar development that will be the most ambitious in professional sports history. The concept features a retractable-roof stadium that brings skateboarding and other attractions to open end-zone areas. It includes entertainment venues, restaurants, office buildings, a hotel and playing fields. "It has to be more than a stadium," said Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones, who leads the stadium effort. Jones and his project team told newspaper they hope to bring the issue to Dallas County voters as early as November, much sooner than many people expected.
