All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Vikings' Holcomb likely to start for injured Jackson
The official source for NFL news, video highlights, fantasy football, game-day coverage, schedules, stats, scores and more.
Holcomb, acquired late in the preseason in a trade with Philadelphia to provide more experience behind the young Jackson, has been working to get acclimated with the Vikings and appears to have leapfrogged incumbent backup Brooks Bollinger on the depth chart.

Yeah, CAPTAIN CHECKDOWN! I'm sure he'll tear it up!
Good riddance Fairchild. Of course, the knowledge of your departure will only make TE more hateable than the typical Bills QB. Good luck, hope we don't mess you up like JP.

The Answer is trying to stay away from the QB threads for a while until things cool down and this team hopefully starts playing better.
However look for The Holcombator to have a nice showing this weekend in KC - he plays well and he will make it difficult for Jackson to regain his starting job when healthy.
The Answer is pulling for the wily veteran regardless and would love him to have a season like Jeff Garcia did last year for philly - speaking of the Eagles, looks like McNabb is finished - think they are going to regret trading The Holcomb now?
Re: Vikings' Holcomb likely to start for injured Jackson
Well, if Tarvaris Jackson ever had a chance at a promising career....it's gonna be gone now.
The Summary for Holcomb should read..."career QB Killer"
Couch, Losman and now Jackson.
You all know that once Holcomb gets his mediocre ass into the lineup, he'll divide up the lockeroom and politic as much as he can to keep the job as starter. I feel bad for Vikings fans.
