1:34 PT: The Denver Post reports former Denver Broncos WR Eddie Kennison – now with the Kansas City Chiefs – has been legally ordered to refund the Broncos a prorated portion of the $500,000 signing bonus he received from the Broncos. In Nov. 2001, Kennison quit playing for the Broncos the night before a game. The team demanded he repay the bonus, but he resisted and later signed with Kansas City. He’ll now have to return $400,000 to Denver. The $400,000-plus relief will help the salary-cap strapped Broncos.
