Maybe it's all part of Marv's master plan to get himself back on the sidelines.

He takes the GM position as a favor to his old friend Ralph, he hires a ****ty coach and coordinators, bags a bunch of worthless free agents, waits for the team to go down in flames then cans Jauron and takes over the HC job as another favor to Ralph.
