Does anybody realize that there are just 8 Bills remaining on the roster from the John Butler era?? And, surprisingly enough, on paper, this team is better than those from 1998-2001.

I do often think that this "former GMs players" thing is overrated at times. Players are players. They're either good or not. What's interesting is that a guy like Newman actually played really well until he wasn't given the opportunity to play much. Then TD signs another player who's presumably a carbon copy minus the stats to back it up.
Sometimes I just think that concept is merely a mental block for GMs/coaches.Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
