One key player may not make you a winner

..but if he sucks he can single-handedly make you a loser.

I'm watching the Cowphag-Bears game tonight and am trying desperately to understand why exactly Grossman is an NFL starter. He is all by his lonesome cavitating that team.

The bears have a fierce defense, if they had just an average QB (one who doesn't commit 2-8 turnovers per contest) they become one of the best 3 teams in the league.

This begs the question. Is Losman our Grossman? We already had one Grossman (RJ) who cost us plenty. Are we now making the exact same mistake again.

I think we should start Edwards for the rest of the season, or at least have him split time with Losman. And find out if we have a non-Grossman on roster. We MUST determine this before the draft. Because Brian Brohm is the real deal as is Dorsey, we gotta determine which one of them we take.

THe Bears are a QB away from being a SB champ. We're about 22 players away.

More like 52. Moorman is the only player truly worth keeping IMO. Trade or cut the rest.

        (only half joking)

The only position we have to hang our collective hat on is the friggin punter. The guy that "real" football players wrap in duct tape and stuff into lockers.

I'd say we have a player at the RB position also.

Maybe...I can see that....although by the time (if) this team gets respectable he'll be long gone to another team. Mark my words, he will not extend his contract.

Agreed. All we need now is three new interior lineman to block for the poor guy.

I'm going to say Moorman and Lynch. So we can keep two.
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

maybe instead of a red X on his forehead....which makes it look like a bullseye. You should put the Red X over the whole picture. That would convey your point a bit more.
