I started thinking about the game this evening and the truth is pretty simple. We are not a very talented team. PERIOD.

Who is our best player? Best players? This team would have a hard time playing against the top 25 in college.

Seriously what players are we building around?

Defense, Crowell and Schobel?

Offense, Evans and Lynch?

We don't have one marquee player on this team. Not one.

Teams rebuild around a core. What our core? The Browns have more talent than we do. I'm serious.

Do you think Bill Parcells would have a much better result? Maybe we would be 1-2 because I think a better coach could have won the Broncos game but really we suck regardless of who the coach is.

Exactly, he's one of the best punters ever! Too bad we have to punt so often though.

I'm sure in the history of the league no successful organization has ever built the team around the punter. Unfortunately, we may be the first to try.

Yup. He, in my eyes should be an HOFer when it's all said and done. Unfortunately P/K's generally don't make it in (see Ray Guy)

Marshawn Lynch will be a marquee player, the dude is only 20-21 years old and hes already doing great.

This team is as bad if not worse than the 1999 Cleveland Browns.

Speaking of that team their marquee player was Chris Gardocki, we used to chant MVP in the stands every time he came out to punt which was early and often.

I was at that game!

The halftime fireworks were good. I have my ticket and the poster they gave out at that game framed and on my wall.
