Injuries have devestated the roster but the excuses for going conservative and not trying are done, from here on out. 0-3 dictates a " nothing to lose " attitude.

Edwards will probably start these next 2 games at home and has a full week of practice with the first unit. If the Coaches state they don't wish to throw too much at him,expose him, get him hurt.. blah blah blah..then they are hanging themselves and should step aside. Other teams throw backup QB's in and go balls to the wall, actually trying to win.
Work on 3-4 WR's and spreading the field this week. It can only help Lynch and Wright. Take Anthony Thomas and superglue him to the bench. Run out of the no-huddle every other series.

No more running out the clock before the half and wasting any opportunities. 4th and 1 ? If we're anywhere near mid-field, we should go for it every time.

Defensively, they CAN'T get any worse, since they are rock bottom now. Quit lining up the DE's 10 feet outside the OT's and tighten up the middle. Draw up blitzes coming from several different positions. This unit should consider gambling most every play.

The Coaches have to stop fearing their own roster and just let it fly, regardless of the results. You only play conservative when you have a solid D that can keep it close.

That's not an option here.

Take the conservative thinking and throw it in Lake Erie. It's not working.

Yeah, I agree, there have never been more available excuses than there are right now.

The problem is that Marv doesn't care because he has this philosophy that "if you listen to the fans, you end up sitting with them."

Of course, I always came from the school of thought that said "the customer is (almost) always right," "don't bite the hand that feeds you," and "if you tick off the guy that pays the bills (in this case the ticket holders) then quite simply don't expect to get paid." Of course... now with the big TV deals the MSM* has bought and paid for this dog and pony show.

You said all the right things. the coaching staff wont do ANY of it tho. The frustrating part is they dont seem to care if the win or lose and dont try.

The placing of the square peg into the round hole seems to have been the issue with our last 3 Coaches, post Wade.

i refuse to believe that we have had 1 injury to a starter on the offensive side and thats JP

if like many fools we read the front office TRULY wants edwards they have their wish NO OFFENSIVE STARTERS ARE HURT THE O SHOULD BE RUNNING FULL STEAM

They came in with the first priority of installing specific systems and they don't have the players suited for it.

They wanted a fast aggresive defense and all the really have is a small overpowered defense.

This front 7 isn't made up of athletic players that get in the backfield or shoot through gaps .

These guys are simply smaller players without so much athletic ability, who are getting stampeded.


It's all well and good when you have those type players but how often do the BIlls show it, how often do you see the benefit of the smaller quicker DTs from the Bills.

Thier DTs don't make many plays in the run game shooting the gaps, they simply just get stampeded

Exactly. i don't understand why we can't get a coach that can build a system that fits his players, instead of putting them in a crappy system that doesn't work. :ill:
