... that Trent Edwards does well.

But there are some here who think (hope) Mr Edwards can wrestle the starting QB spot from JP.

Well... If that happens I'll be 1 happy SOB because that means we'll be a better team.

However I doubt Trent Edwards is top 11 like JP proved to be last season.

Our entire O is handcuffed by Fairchild... Here's to the (to be forever named) "running scared" system.

Just win.

On a side note, I'd like to start current #2 QB Fred Jackson against the Jets.

Exactly, let's just win. Whoever brings the W's in can have the other QB shine shoes for all I care.

I just want solid QB play.

If Edwards can do it, fine. If Edwards sucks it up and JP does it after he gets back, fine.

I do have to say this though: I'm getting a little frustrated with JP, and while I would never root for an injury (except to Tom Brady) and I hope JP recovers quickly, the upside is that we get to see what Edwards can do. And at home against the Jets is a much more fair test than on the road against the Pats.

You do know that the Lickers are going to say that "It's just the Jets, they suck".

They better not, they were the same ones saying that it wasnt fair to judge JP till then because the other teams that we have played thus far have a good D. Im not rooting against JP, but im just really fed up with his play and want to see what Trent can do
