okay, so now we have even less OL than before. 2 less. I understand that McCaskill was a bum, but we only have Duke Preston and Kirk Chambers for offensive line depth right now. With the kind of injury problems we have been having, that is insane!

I started a thread about this guy a few weeks ago after he was cut from the Browns. He really hasn't had much of a chance to show what he can do since he was with Pittsburgh at first then the Browns which are both 3-4 teams which he didnt do in college. I think he can be a great fit for our D.

I don't think we can have a sane roster anymore....

They thought highly of him at 1time
Position: Defensive Tackle
School: Miami (FL)

Status: Senior

Height: 6-4

Weight: 302

40-Yard Dash: 5.20 (EST)

Positives:
He is your prototypical defensive tackle that can stop the run and get after the quarterback. Orien has all the potential in the world and for the most part he has lived up to the hype. He is a very unselfish player that does whatever is asked of him. Though his stats don't show it, he is a great pass rusher.
Negatives:
Orien has the size you look for, but doesn't take on blockers very well. He has no trouble at getting in the backfield, but rarely produces any sacks. He needs to polish his defensive moves as well.
Overview:
Orien Harris has all the potential in the world, and I think he will be a great defensive tackle. Has a nose for the ball and is constantly causing havoc in the backfield. He will make an impact on any team right away and is my sleeper pick. Watch out for this kid. He could be one of the best at his position in a couple years.

If he can show anything the next couple of weeks at DT, maybe he can beat out Anderson for a roster spot.

I'm hoping he can play DE as well, even when Hargrove and/or Denney in the lineup, the Bills DEs are lame.

He has a decent chance to move up from the PS. It's not the most exciting signing, but he has upside.

Based on what I saw in college he should be on the roster and not the practice squad. I can name a few bums he could switch spots with.

Now, you wouldn't be referring to Timmy Anderson...would you?

Here's their chance - this is the time for these guys to get the career they've always dreamed of.

By the sheer numbers of questionable players, some of them have to be good.

What a ****ing merry go round.

Harris could have some potential though, even though I heard he sucked ass at the NFL camp level.

As we all know, sometimes someone good at camp sucks during the games. Hopefully this guy is a hungry gamer and a bad camper.

He was in camp with 2 teams that run the 3-4 and he is a 4-3 DT. This kid could be a good one.

I like it a lot. Butler and Harris were solid FA's IMO.

Yeah, they are players that you have some hope of them becoming what they were expected to be. In these guys cases, they might have just not been in the right situation.

I like the signing.. He can play the DT position and if we need him , Maybe the DE slot....His best position may be the 3 technique in our cover 2 But he could grow into the 1 spot...Any Thoughts.... ?

Really? How come he isn't on a roster then? Surely some team would want him. He is good because Buffalo signed him though.

If this guy showed anything at all he would't have gone on his third team in 2 years and 3 games.
