All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
The guy is what, 300+ lbs? He come in with full steam and gets pushed from behind. He sticks his arm out, yes. But with that speed he had no other choice. It was a fluke the elbow hit Losman's knee.
he had both arms around Wilfork. You might be the one blind. The center pushing the DT towards the qb. That's great technique. NO! LT's and RT push DE's outside not center.

I don't think it was dirty.
instead of going down, he took an extra step or two towards Losman before going down- it wasn't the block that pushed him into Losman, it was his own effort. Also, his arm was extended too far to do much good as far as shielding his body from the fall- he would have fallen on his ribs and likely messed up his shoulder with his arm that far out. He had a target.

He got beat, tried to hold, fell, and while falling, slid down Wilfork, which pushed him forward. Into Losman.
That was some ****ty blocking from the center and there were definite bad intentions with that elbow. He may have not meant to hit him in his knee like that but he was most definitely trying to get a last hit in before his big ass hit the turf.
I'm not even looking at the holding or pushing. We all know our center blows. It's just that he whipped his elbow out at the end. Generally when you fall you kick your elbows out a LITTLE BIT to brace for the impact while maintaining enough leverage. The way that right elbow was out he'd have landed on his torso.
Most defenders trying to get at the qb try to wrap him up. I would take him falling on losmans legs if he was trying to GRAB his legs. I dont care if he was held or pushed. He had clear intent of, "if im going down, im taking him out, not taking him down." I have NEVER seen any player going down on a tackle get into the forearm shiver position, either to break a fall or tackle.
Buy land in AK now. In ten years due to global warming, it will be the new tropical paradise, minus the tropics
I definilty think it was a cheapshot. If he was intending to tackle Losman, he would have extended his entire arm out in an attmept to grab him. He was throwing his elbow outward.
