In theory yes...in practice? They are not scoring 4 goals a game in the NHL regular season.

We can score 4 goals all season long but what happens when the clutching and grabbing comes back in the playoffs and goals are harder to come by and ref whistle's disappear?

If ANYONE can score 4+ goals a game and carry that into the playoffs, and their goaltender doesn't completely blow, they'll go all the way.

But it's much more difficult to do in regular season and playoffs than it is in pre-season.

I think the NHL is going back to the rules that were enforced after the lock-out letting the teams fly up and down the ice that's what it sounded like last night as both teams didn't want to play any defence. But again it's the Pittsburgh Penguins and superstar Sidney Crosby and Malkin. Rick Jeanneret said something about this last night in his play-by-play that it looks like the NHL is going to let the players play and skate up and down the ice but the refs will call penalty's for clutching and grabbing. Plus that's why the NHL went to these RBK jerseys so players can't clutch or grab the jerseys they will be tied down also. But again it's the NHL so you don't know what your going to get.
