    Wow, great game by Edwards!

I honestly feel Trent is a better option for us to win than Losman right now. Its just one game but a win is a win and he played lights out.

I really like the kid, he showed me alot today. If he can play with the same poise for the next few games, I think Losman is done in Buff.

    Great game overall

Gives us something to look forward to next week. Can he play well against Dallas?

      22/28...

thats awesome, and people can argue that number 1...the fumble by Royal couldve been a TD eventually on that drive, and 2...evans should have defended that INT...evans looks like he gave up

ill says this again...trent edwards has shown me more in 2 and 3/4 games than JP has all 3 years he was here.

You mean 1 3/4 games. Losman played against Denver and Pittsburgh.

Edwards poise and read ability is so far ahead and obviously superior to anything JP ever did. I don't think JP ever had one game that looked as solid as this kids rookie opener.
I'm confident in saying he's the best QB prospect we've had since Kelly with the exception of a few spurts from Flutie and Bledsoe. He reminds me a little of Kurt Warner.

Hold your horses boys... I loved the kids performance, but we played a very soft Jets team and still almost blew it. If we can hang with Dallas offensively then we can start the Trent is a great prospect talk.

Completely agree. JP has had great games too. If we give up on him, we give up on the good too. His ability to hit Evans long for example. Not saying we shouldnt go with Trent, just that hes still an unknown at this point. Let him play with the big dogs and see how he does.

Pennington played against a worse defense yesterday, from a statistical standpoint, and he threw two critical picks.

This is the NFL...These guys line up against the big boys every week.
