Bootom Line- Edwards Makes Quicker Reads

That's the difference and why the short to medium passes were being completed yesterday.

No hesitation. Read & release. A lightning quick release at that.

He may suffer growing pains next Monday night but it's now his job to lose. We're rebuilding and #5 has an obvious upside that #7 does not have.

With the option year of JP coming up, it's highly unlikely he'll now see the big $$, when we need major help in other areas.

Welcome Trent Edwards. A 3rd rounder ? Looks like a bargain.

No happy feet...very few instances of indecision. This kid has potential.

I'm not so sure it's his job to lose, though, quite yet. Jp's going to get one more chance.

Initially,I thought the same thing yesterday but the JP 2008 option year makes this a unique situation. Sitting Edwards back down just stunts his growth and JP was basically on trial for a large new contract. Money which could pay for 2-3 front line starters for 2008.

I'd be somewhat surprised if they sat a healthy Edwards, unless he completely fell apart.
