So, how did the Stanford rookie do in his first start? FO's Mike Tanier: "I was highly, highly impressed by Edwards. Great timing on lots of little hitches and curls, good presence in the pocket. He really sliced some passes into tight spots. I don't want to get carried away or anything, but it was as good a first start as any rookie could hope for."

Notice how he hit WRs that weren't "wide open." That's what good QBs do instead of getting happy feet.

He had "the glow" like when Bruce Leroy took on the Shogun of Harlem.

If he puts up that or better stats on Dallas, this will mean more.

Why? JP got a free pass against the Ravens last game last year.

That's true but I'd like to see a few more games with Trent as the starter before we start looking for stats. Stats seem to tell the story after there are more stats in the hopper. Like in baseball when they do minimum at bats so the guy that hit 1 for 2 and never plays again doesn't win the batting crown with a .500 average.

Why? JP got a free pass against the Ravens last game last year. You didn't think JP should have gotten a free pass. But if Trent struggles, he should get one? Looks like you're bent (over) for trent.
