I think that there is a lot to be said for Whitner and his ability to play this game. He's already proven to me that he is a stellar SS that powers guys to the ground. Let's face it if the Bills didn't have Whitner with this interior DL, opposing teams would be scoring much more on the ground the past two seasons.

Now the Bills are asking him to fill in at FS. I think he definitly has the ability to pull this off and if he can play the FS position as half as good as he plays the SS position, I think that Whitner might start to find his talents being compared to that of one Ronnie Lott.

Whitner will most definitly be exposed Monday night, whether in a postive light or a negative one. I'm really pulling for this guy. Other than POZ, I can't think of another player on this defense that I've been absolutely psyched about getting.

He probably has the athleticism to play Cb if they wanted him to. He can run with most anyone.

for all the hype this player gets come gametime he never really amounts to anything more than average to somewhat above average

certainly not an impact player

if he wasn't taken 8th in the draft none of the BS would be flying around
