Bengals looking to trade their 1ST pick

Bengals | Pre-Draft Deal Coming? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
10:07 PT: Bengals.com reports the Cincinnati Bengals may be looking to deal their No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft if the team is offered the right player in the appropriate situation. Head coach Marvin Lewis said it was in the team’s best interest to get a clean, quick pre-draft deal.

Maybe we can trade Watson for their first. I wouldn't be surprised if TD is capable of pulling this off.

Maybe they'll go for this package:

Their 1st overall for our 23rd, Watson, AND Billy Buffalo.

      What a deal.

We can address our 3rd wr via draft if we trade up with Bengals and maybe land Charlie Rogers?

The post was moved before any replys were made. At that time, it was 90% Bengal news, 10% Bills possibility.

That is why it was moved. Now that it has created a stir with possibilities for Bills news, it can be moved back.

            Thanks!

if we were to move up in that slot it would have to be Terrell Suggs.
                    Its all about the quest.

Mike Brown is too cheap to shell out 10+ million signing bonus to a first overall pick.

I realize that this whole thread is all in fun, but if it were serious, I doubt TD would even want the #1 pick for the same reason Cincinnati is trying to trade it. By virtue of being the first player off the board, it's almost a given you're going to overpay, at least for the first year or two's production. If you don't have a serious need for one of the players who are rated as possible #1 picks, you really can't afford to draft someone else, because then you'd really be overpaying. Buffalo certainly doesn't need a starting QB. Charlie Rogers or Andre Johnson might be great WRs, but would command a salary worthy of a #1 WR on a team. We just got rid of a WR because we didn't want to pay two #1s. Terrance Newman is another possible #1. If you draft him, who is your nickel back? Newman, Winfield or Clements? Jimmy Kennedy is the only other player seriously being considered as a #1. So what do we do with Adams and Williams? Someone who shouldn't is going to end up warming the bench.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
