I've made this same comment on other hockey forums many times last year.
And frustratingly the first game this year is a repeat.
Teams that have been winning the stanley cup DO NOT PLAY A PASSIVE PK.
Buffalo was the only top 4 team the last two years that did.
And their passive PK Kills them.
They do not attack the oppositions point men.
Buffalo's two men playing high rarely if ever attempt to apply any pressure to the point man.
Watch the replays of the NYI PP goals.
Then watch how teams Like Anaheim and Ottawa kill PPs .
I'll try to teach hockey to the forum as the season wears on.
