I was in a debate with someone that said Lindy Ruff didn't misread the talent when he advanced Paille over Stafford at the start of last season.

One of the brilliant rationalizations on behalf of Ruff was that he went with Paille because he brought qualties that Stafford couldn't like penalty killing.

Where was Paille's penalty killing last night ?

I'd like to see Paille develope into a PK specialist because this team is in dire need , but at this point he isn't and he wasn't a specialist a year ago either.

And Stafford is a Penalty Killer?

BTW, on at least two of the PP goals scored, Roy was on the ice, not Paille.

Also, please tell me the Sabres record last year at the start of the season with Paille in ahead of Stafford.

Amd one other reason for Paille: He also plays center.

As usual, you ignore 90% of the argument, mainly because you have no response.
