How did we keep Ryan and not McCarther. McCarther can compete with Stafford. Also we need a big fight to energize us.

I'd like to see McCarthur here instead of Ryan, but I don't think he's a big difference maker. Another move that would make me happy would be bringing up Sekera...this kid is going to be a good defenseman. He couldn't be any worse than Kalinin...can he?

see how long did it take for me to be vindicated after argueing with those 2 morons last week that don't know the first thing about hockey

somehow someway macarthur needs to be on this team

they lost too much by way of goal scoring not to have him in the lineup

those dummies think players like ryan and paille will help make up for the loss

I could agree with paille only if he brought something else to the team, like being a shutdown forward or a PK specialist on the level of a peca

but at this point I don't see it

I would be shocked if anyone picked up ryan off waivers

Quit with the namecalling. And the BS accusations. It makes you look like a jackass. I hate to tell you that "those two morons" likely have forgotten more about hockey then you dream you know.

Now, answer this question: Who else do the Sabres have for depth in Rochester besides MacArthur?

if you had a clue about hockey you wouldn't be asking who they have in Rochester outside of macarthur

people that know this game can immediately ID macarthur as the player from rochester ready to make the move up

again you demonstrate how little you know about this game

Since when is "I know more than you" an argument? All that does is establish the opposite, quite automatically.

Really?

It is odd you say that and yet offer no names.

Zagrupan is not ready. Hunter and Kaleta likely never will be. Mancari? No way.

So tell me, who are the depth guys in Rochester?

I am confident in my knowledge. Until you actually answer a question and not avoid it, it is yours that is much more than questionable.

Sekera and Funk.

They are defensemen, not forwards.

You can correct other people's spelling when you start learning grammar.

what in the world could this have to do with macarthur ?

I have never been quoted as saying they have great depth in rochester

is this how you approach every debate...change the topic entirely or assign statements to people that they never made

what does depth in rochester have to do with bringing macarthur up ?

can you expain your train of thought to us because whatever it is that train is coming off the tracks

I condensed this conversation to demonstrate the quality of some of the minds you need to deal with here.

These people have zero comprehension.

This person is actually asking me to substantiate who they have in Rochester outside of macArthur as I am telling him that MacArthur is clearly stands out as the one guy the Sabres need to bring up.

Sigh.

You have real serious issues with reading so I will explain it to you again.

Sabres send Ryan down. A team (i.e Chicago, Pheonix) claim him, much like happened with Thornburn last year. They lose Ryan.

They call up MacArthur.

No forwards are left in Rochester.

In addition, MacAthur goes from 20 some minutes a game (in many different situations) to 10 or less with the Sabres slowing his development.

So, no I address issues in a debate and follow what is being said.

Try it; it is better that way.

are you really that out of it ?
hear i'll post what YOU wrote again maybe it will penetrate the thickness but I doubt it

I'll spell it out again read SLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOWLY

Read at a pace meant for you read slow

YOU wrote that asking ME to name players in Rochester.
I never mentioned or suggested anyone other than macarthur

GET IT ?
YOU COMPLETELY LACKED COMPREHENSION
100% lack of comprehension

And now even after spelling it out you are still lost

so spelling out a second time for you will likely do no good.

Really?
It is odd you say that and yet offer no names
that's because I never said anything of the nature
you imagined it and even after rereading it you still apparently imagine it
I never mentioned depth in Rochester and never expressed concern for it
Because I don't care about that
You are fabricating again to cover for your embarassing reading skills

when and if you recover from that coma or whatever is it you suffer from then I'll talk to you

This is using many words to substitute for actual substance and give the illusion of intelligence by using eighth-grade insults.

In the rare times I agree with this guy, I'm thinking, "Stay off my side because you're embarrassing me."

well, if you call up clarke, whomever you send down is subject to waivers, and trust me, people chomp at the bit to play the waiver wire.

its only 2 games..... although i dont like what i see so far, there are still 80 games to go

TheGhostofJimKelly

It might be something like Ryan doesn't have a two way contract and McArther does. Clarke can be sent down to Rochester and Ryan would have to clear waivers.

they need to watch tape and realize both defensemen queued on the same winger all game 1, leaving the back door man open for every goal.

That happened in the first game also. It makes you wonder what this team has been doing in training camp to improve? It's the same mistakes as last year in the playoffs.

Anyone recall when he was skating past center ice and some guy just came up, took the puck away, and skated the other way. Exactly like taking candy from a baby. Get him the **** out and bring up Big Mac!

But it happens that you have no basis to say it.

Nothing precludes them from bring MacArthur up.
