Let me preface this with a disclaimer: I didn't see last night's game but I did see Friday's game.
Why does it seem like Pominville ALWAYS whiffs? I distinctly remember one time when he had a rebound lying right in the crease- he took 2 or 3 whacks at it and never hit it cleanly. I also seem to remember him hitting the post.
The guy just never seems to hit the puck cleanly- I think I recall noticing the same thing last year as well.
What's the deal? When your only job is to play hockey, you'd figure he'd eventually learn to get all the lumber on the damn puck.
