He went down like a rag doll....but i thought i saw his legs moving.
Shades of Kevin Everett in Houston today.
i hate the Dolphins but i don't wish injuries on anyone.

Yes....word from the locker room is that it is a concussion.
i'm glad it wasn't more serious.

He took a similar hit last year right? Or was it the year before?

MikeInRoch

Last year, I think. Week 1, against Cincy I believe it was.

Wow, that will pretty much kill his career. It's his 2nd major concussion now and he hasn't been the same since the 1st one. :(

Now we get to see Miss Cleo as the quarterback for the Dolphins. The sad thing is, he might actually do better and help them win games. :ill:

I hope Trent can come back, all he was doing was trying to help his team and he took a vicious knee trying to throw the block.

All I can say about that block he threw is ow. Two years in a row now with major concussions combine that with his age and it's time for him to seriously start contemplating retirement.

Does anyone believe that Miami has an NFL coach?

Miami Dolphins quarterback Trent Green rejoined his team after he sustained a concussion in Sunday's game against Houston and was taken to a hospital.

Green was back in the locker room after the Dolphins' 22-19 loss, with a bandage behind his right ear. He was not made available to the media, but he was going to fly back to Miami with the team, coach Cam Cameron said.

Any coach that has a play where the 37 year old QB is out blocking or leads to the QB blocking is pretty scary.

I guess Ted Ginn sucks so bad at WR that they have him as a RB.

Using that word block pretty loosly arn't we. It looked more like he just fell to the ground and got in a players way.

I just KNEW you'd find SOME way to say that this injury was the fault of the front office.

It was a busted play Ginn picked up a fumble and tried to make a play, so Green tried to throw a block on the defender. After he was down the defender got called for taunting.

If anything, it was kind of a dirty hit by Green. He went for the knee on a guy who was not looking at all.

It just wasn't too smart to go for that knee with his head.

I didn't see the play but on the radio they said it was a reverse. Finheaven is about ready to kill themselves. I guess Cleo was a lemon.

I wouldn't exactly call that a block. What would you call it?? A QB sent a 300 pound D-lineman head over heals and landed him on his head?? Maybe not a smart move by Trent but it was a damn good block

Yeah, that was a vicious hit. Very scary. When I first saw it I thought of your guy Everett. Luckily it wasn't that serious. But yeah, from what I've gathered its a pretty bad concussion.

Its a real shame.

Was a typical rookie mistake by Ginn. Was a great idea by Cameron. Use Ginn likes UF uses Percy Harvin, but he just had to fumble it. Ronnie Brown laid a great block, and Green was simply an inch from laying a greater block on Travis Johnson. All he needed was for to get forward a little more take it in the shoulder pads. I applaud Green for leading on the field. Sadly, this is probably the end of his career. It was a great one too.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Trent Green was knocked unconscious with a grade-three concussion - the most severe - and he'll undergo further tests on the career-threatening injury to determine his future.

Green has been ruled out of Sunday's game at Cleveland a day after he was injured against Houston. Coach Cam Cameron declined to discuss the possibility the injury will prompt the 37-year-old Green to retire.
